In this section we will talk about ECO SEN
activities which are Eco activities for Children with special educational
needs. Before we start working on this
section we should know some facts about the children with...
ADHD – Pupils with ADHD have difficulty maintaining focus on one task, quickly become bored with an activity after a short time, have difficulty in focusing attention and daydream. Through special games the child can spend time in a good way and learn new skills. The games and activities should help the child deal with emotions and difficulties, discharge tension, soothe and calm.
Asperger Syndrome: Children with Asperger’ Syndrome find it more difficult to communicate and interact with others which leads to high levels of anxiety and anger. Asperger syndrome is a form of autism, which is a lifelong disability that affects how a person makes sense of the world, processes information and relates to other people. When we prepare activities for these students we should focus on social interaction, social imagination, and communication. The best activities are: jigsaw puzzle, Picture Bingo, computer games, painting, drawing, and coloring. To improve social skills we can apply board games, chess.
Physical disability: A physical disability is a limitation on a person's physical functioning, mobility, dexterity or stamina. Pupils often feel unsure and would like o be part of a team. The best activities include: imitating the sounds, drawing, painting, joining elements, teambuilding
